Two Ingredient Oven Puffed Tofu

This is a super easy recipe which can be used as an addition in so many different recipes. Stay tuned for a Pad Thai recipe soon!

With only two ingredients it’s insanely cheap and easy to make.



1 block firm tofu
1 tbsp cornflour


Heat the oven to 200ºC.

Press the tofu in a tofu press for at least 30 minutes or with kitchen towel and something heavy. It’s important to get as much moisture out as possible.

Next chop the tofu into cubes about 1.5cm each side.

Place the tofu in a shallow dish and sprinkle over the cornflour. Coat the tofu thoroughly on all sides.

Lay the tofu on a baking tray and bake in the oven for 25-30 minutes. Check the tofu after about 20 minutes to see how far along it is. You want the finished product to be golden brown and crisp.
